Why the name Tabernacle of the Temples Fellowship?
TABERNACLE: We serve as a place of worship, a physical and spiritual covering, where developing ministers walk in Sonship with our Heavenly Father (Exodus 25:8). Two of the main foundational emphases of the Tabernacle are prayer and praise. Both are forms of worship. Prayer is a two-way communication with God. Praise is words and deeds offered as a sacrifice to exalt and honor God.
TEMPLES: As believers who have accepted Jesus Christ, we are the temples of God. Our bodies are buildings set apart for worship (II Corinthians 6:16).
FELLOWSHIP: As believers and members of the New Testament Church, we give ourselves first to the Lord and then serve the body of Christ (II Corinthians 10:16; II Corinthians 8:4).
CHURCH MOTTO: We are a family church. We are a ministering church. We are an evangelizing church.
FAMILY CHURCH: God directed us to empower His people to function according to God's plan and prescription for the family unit through Tabernacle Enrichment and Development Ministry (T.E.A.D.M.) and Total Man and Women of God Ministries.
MINISTERING CHURCH: God mandated that we be “our brother’s keeper.” As a member of the body of Christ in particular, we accept the responsibility to minister the love of God through our clothing ministry, health ministry, financial education ministry, home visitation ministry, and book and tape ministry.
God commissioned us to develop disciples to evangelize the nations, teaching them to observe all His precepts through the power of the Holy Spirit.
